Overview
Beach Park is an established South Tampa neighborhood on the west side of the city, between the Westshore business district and Old Tampa Bay. It's one of the most convenient addresses in Tampa for flying out: Tampa International Airport, the Bucs facility and Raymond James Stadium are all a short drive.
Streets mix mid-century homes with newer custom builds, and the neighborhood is close to International Plaza, Bay Street dining and the Westshore office corridor.
Gated access & security
Beach Park is a public, non-gated neighborhood. Security depends on the individual property: gated driveways, cameras, lighting and monitored systems.
For crime statistics, rely on official sources: search any address on the LexisNexis Community Crime Map ↗, or check with the local police department or sheriff's office.
Privacy
Lots are typical of South Tampa, so homes are closer together than in the gated estate communities. New-construction homes with walls, gates and mature landscaping offer the most privacy, and bayfront homes are more visible.
Homes
Original ranch homes, renovated properties and many newer custom homes. Bayfront and near-bay streets are the most sought-after.
Lifestyle
Quick access to shopping and dining at International Plaza and Bay Street, the Westshore district, the Courtney Campbell Causeway to Clearwater beaches, and the rest of South Tampa.
Flood & insurance
Areas closer to the bay fall in FEMA high-risk flood zones (for example, Zone AE), while other streets are lower-risk. Check each address on the map and get an insurance quote.
